Where Lens Replacement Surgery for Blue Fin Vision® Patients Takes Place

2 min read

Partner hospitals, surgical infrastructure, and the clinical environment

Lens replacement surgery for Blue Fin Vision® patients is performed in established private hospital theatres within the Blue Fin Vision® partner hospital network. The current surgical sites include:

  • Chase Lodge Hospital (Phoenix Hospital Group) – Mill Hill, London
  • Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford (Phoenix Hospital Group) – Chelmsford, Essex
  • One Hatfield Hospital – Hatfield, Hertfordshire
  • Weymouth Street Hospital – London W1

All surgical sites are equipped with modern phacoemulsification platforms, operating microscopes, and the full lens replacement surgical infrastructure required for premium IOL implantation. ZEISS surgical microscopes are used across the Blue Fin Vision® network, consistent with Mr Hove’s ZEISS Key Opinion Leader status.¹

The partner hospital model allows Blue Fin Vision® to offer consultant-delivered care within established private hospital environments – combining the infrastructure and clinical governance of accredited private hospitals with the specialist lens surgery expertise of a dedicated refractive practice.

For patients travelling from outside London or from other regions, consultations are available at the Harley Street clinic (central London), with surgical care accessible across the network depending on patient preference and geography.

Postoperative care after lens replacement follows a structured pathway, with the first review the day after surgery at the surgical site or a designated follow-up location. All clinical concerns arising from the procedure are managed within the Blue Fin Vision® clinical network.

At Blue Fin Vision®, lens replacement surgery takes place in established private hospital theatres within the Blue Fin Vision® partner network, using modern surgical infrastructure and equipment.

Blue Fin Vision® Answer
