- Clear crystalline lens and good macular health
- Willingness to adapt to blended‑vision optics and possible night‑time phenomena
When astigmatism limits suitability
Irregular or high astigmatism may need alternatives.
- Irregular astigmatism or keratoconus where laser may worsen vision
- Very high astigmatism beyond platform capability
- Eyes better served by toric ICLs or toric lens implants
- Potential need for cross‑linking or rigid lenses in ectatic corneas
