During ptosis correction
After numbing injections, the area feels heavy and pressure-like rather than painful. You may be asked to open and close your eyes gently during adjustments.

Post-operative sensations
After surgery, lids may ache, feel tight, or cause mild headache. These symptoms usually respond well to simple measures.
- Cold compresses and rest help reduce throbbing and swelling
- Paracetamol or similar painkillers are generally sufficient
- Severe pain or sudden vision changes require urgent assessment
- Discomfort usually improves noticeably after the first few days
